Here are a few teas to consider introducing into your daily nutrition and wellness routine this winter.
Chai Tea
This tea is a staple in my household, Our Chocolate chai tops the list of winter teas for a lot of people; but not without good reason. Rooibos tea itself is good for the heart, and assists in the prevention of chronic and serious diseases by lowering cholesterol and the risk of diabetes, as well as alleviating stress. Here is what is in our chai tea ginger, cardamom, Cocoa, and chocolate chips – the ingredients have anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving, and mood-uplifting properties. You can brew our chai with milk or water ever you choose. (I love heating up a cup of milk and adding the tea right into the pot with the milk when it gets warm I strain the milk through a strainer to get the herbal tea out then I place the tea back into the pot and start another pot, as I use my tea up to 3x before getting rid of it).
